Jordan Madge (b.1994) is a photographer from Melbourne, Australia. Primarily adopting the role of observer, he aims at exploring social and physical landscapes. In 2015 he graduated with a BA of Photography at Photography Studies College Melbourne. He has been featured in publications such as The British Journal of Photography, VICE, Landscape Stories and Paper-Journal Magazine. During 2017 he held a solo exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne and was in a group show titled ‘Shadows are Cast by Things and People’ at the Australian Centre for Photography. He was also a part of a projection titled ‘I Love a Sunburnt Country’ as part of The Night of the Images organised by the Musee de I’Elysee in Switzerland. In 2016, he was awarded the Australian Photobook of the Year (unpublished) and in 2017 The Centre for Contemporary Photography’s Instagram Project winner. He has completed residency programs in both Australia and Japan and was most recently selected as a finalist for the National Photographic Portrait Prize.
